Maryland has had four straight losing seasons. The Terrapins hope that this changes in 2019. They had a big cupcake in their opener against Howard as they beat them 79-0 so this will be the first real test in 2019. Syracuse won 10 games last year for the first time since the 1970s but will be hard-pressed to match that in 2019. Syracuse had a cupcake of their own, and while the defense was impressive, the offense really struggled in a 24-0 win vs. Liberty. Tommy Devito took over at QB for the Orange and it wasn't pretty. He completed less than 50% of his passes and threw two INTs. The Cuse was also guilty of 10 penalties. There is a lot to clean up and they will have to once again try to do so on the road. It may also not be a good thing that they will be facing Clemson next week, and if they don't have their full attention here vs. Maryland, they are going to lose big. Back Maryland.
