Liberty University Flames vs Wake Forest Demon Deacons Point Spread Picks

Wake Forest is picking up where it left off last season when it went 11-3 topped off with a 38-18 against Rutgers in the Gator Bowl. The Demon Deacons are 2-0 and averaging 44.5 points in beating VMI and Vanderbilt and this after scoring 41 points per game in 2021. The Deacons have one of the best quarterbacks in the country in Sam Hartman and he threw four TD passes against the Commodores and passed for 300 yards. His star receiver A.T. Perry had five catches for 142 yards and a touchdown and the Deacons now have covered seven of their last 10 games. This will be a much tougher test for Liberty than its first two games against Southern Miss and UAB, both of which were wins, but the Flames had to go overtime versus Southern Miss and didn't cover the number. The Flames don't have Malik Willis anymore and Kaidon Salter is the new QB and he went 13 of 25 for 202 yards and no TDs against the Blazers. Liberty is just 3-6 ATS its last nine games and 2-5 ATS its last seven non-conference games. Wake Forest is 11-5 ATS its past 16 home games and the Demon Deacons have covered their past four non-conference games. Take Wake Forest.
