Kentucky is 1-1 against FBS opponents, and the win came at Texas A&M, 31-21, with Kenny Minchey completing 14 of 18 passes for 252 yards. Kentucky then ran for 390 yards against South Alabama. South Carolina's offense is the best case for the home side at 38.5 points a game with LaNorris Sellers, but 102 of those 154 points came against Kent State and Towson. There is respected money on Kentucky to win outright, but I like the points. Play Kentucky on the spread.

The Cats after 5 games were out-scoring opponents 185-76, and then came a game vs. Georgia that they thought they could win. They were total destroyed on both sides of the ball in a woeful 51-13 loss. The 5-0 start where they out-scored opponents by 109 total points has become a 1-4 mark and being out-scored 174-106. That loss obviously took all the stream out of Kentucky. South Carolina has 4 wins but half of those have come in their last 2 games. I think the Gamecocks are motivated, and confident, while Kentucky is singing the blues. Kentucky has 1 road win since September 23. Make the play on South Carolina.
