Kentucky Wildcats vs NC State Wolfpack

GATOR BOWL - NC State ended the season winning its last four games, but Kentucky is favored because it played an SEC schedule. The Wildcats destroyed South Carolina in their regular-season finale, 41-18, but they still fired two of their assistant coaches and hired Liam Coen as the new offensive coordinator. Kentucky does have motivation as none of the players has yet requested to sit out to help his draft status. Quarterback Terry Wilson was 17 of 26 for 201 yards and no interceptions against the Gamecocks, and it was the running game that made the difference. Christopher Rodriguez, Jr. rushed for 139 yards on 14 carries and Asim Rose also had 14 attempts for 101 yards. The Wolfpack went UNDER three of its last four games, and Kentucky stayed UNDER five of its last eight. NC State is 1-7 ATS its last eight games versus SEC teams and 4-13 ATS overall following a win.
