Kansas State Wildcats vs Navy Midshipmen Point Spread Picks

LIBERTY BOWL - Chris Klieman had big shoes to fill taking over for legendary Bill Snyder, but he has done a tremendous job in his first year at Kansas State finishing with an 8-4 straight-up record and 9-3 ATS. The Wildcats delivered a major upset win against Oklahoma, suffered two close losses to Texas and West Virginia and bounced back to win their last two games against Texas Tech and Iowa State. Navy, of course, with its option offense leads the nation in rushing yards, but Kansas State is in the middle of the pack in rush defense at #63 in the country while allowing only 21.5 points per game. The Wildcats are used to high-octane offenses coming from the Big-12 Conference and won't be intimidated by the Midshipmen's running attack. The Wildcats did not play in a Bowl game last year for the first time since 2009 and will be motivated for this one. Skylar Thompson recorded 22 touchdowns for Kansas State (12 passing, 10 rushing) and has accumulated more than 4,000 yards passing and 1,000 yards rushing in his career.
