Miami Florida at Indiana

January 19, 2026
img7:30 PM Eastern

Indiana has looked dominant in its first two games of the playoffs, but let's not forget that the Hoosiers barely beat Iowa 20-15 and needed a last-minute touchdown drive to defeat Penn State. Also, their 13-10 win over Ohio State doesn't look as impressive as the Hurricanes handled the Buckeyes relatively easily, 24-14, while allowing only 45 rushing yards on 24 carries. To say the Hurricanes are peaking at the right time is an understatement, as they have won seven in a row while yielding just 12.1 points per game. Miami has a huge size advantage in the trenches, as its offensive line outweighs Indiana's defensive line by about 50 pounds per player. Carson Beck threw for 268 yards and two TDs with an interception, and Miami totaled 459 yards of offense in its thrilling 31-27 victory over Mississippi. The Hurricanes racked up 191 yards on the ground, including 133 by Mark Fletcher Jr. on 6.0 per carry. Miami is on a 5-1 ATS run, and it has gone UNDER eight of 12. The Hurricanes are 5-0 ATS in their past five non-conference games. Miami is 5-0 ATS and 4-1 UNDER after totaling more than 450 yards in its previous game. The Hurricanes are 7-1 UNDER versus teams with winning records. Fernando Mendoza has more touchdowns in two CFP games (eight) than incompletions (five), but this will be his toughest test. Alabama probably shouldn't have even been in the playoff, and the Hoosiers already had beaten Oregon this season. Plus, Miami is playing on its home field. Take Miami as my best bet, and bet this game to stay UNDER the total.
