Those two games were deceptive because the Bulls scored 34 against an FCS school and then 49 versus Georgia Tech even though they were outgained 602-426 by the Yellow Jackets' triple-option offense. Meanwhile, Illinois is 2-0 and has gone UNDER both games, and the Fighting Illini has stayed UNDER in six of its last eight games going back to 2017. Most of the damage was done by the Illini running game against Western Illinois when they racked up 238 rushing yards while freshman quarterback M.J. Rivers completed only 9-of-16 pass attempts for 105 yards. Illinois is totally inexperienced at the QB position and this will be the first true test against a Power-5 school.
