Houston Cougars vs TCU Horned Frogs Point Spread Picks

Willie Fritz has turned around the Houston program in his second year as head coach, and the Cougars are 8-2 (7-3 ATS) after defeating UCF 30-27 before having the week off. Conner Weigman overcame three interceptions with two TDs and 223 yards passing, and he ran for 82 yards as the Cougars outgained the Knights 433-282. Houston is 5-0 ATS after allowing fewer than 170 yards passing in its previous game, and it has covered four of five conference games. TCU is 4-11 in its past 15 road games and 1-4 ATS in its past five games overall. The Horned Frogs have lost eight of 10 outright as underdogs. Houston won last year's meeting 30-19 as a 16.5-point dog. The Horned Frogs have lost two in a row, including a 44-13 rout by BYU last week.
