Houston Cougars vs Navy Midshipmen Point Spread Picks

Houston had a bye week after an incredible win over Memphis when the Cougars scored 26 points in the fourth quarter to pull out a 33-32 victory in a game that looked like a dead UNDER for three quarters before going OVER by 7.5 points. Navy has averaged 43.5 points its last two games, but the Midshipmen will have a tougher time against the Cougars, who have allowed Navy 21 and 20 points the last two meetings. The Midshipmen scored just 10 points against Air Force and 23 in an overtime win over East Carolina earlier in the season. Navy is 11-5 UNDER its past 16 games after an ATS win and it has stayed UNDER nine of its past 13 games after racking up at least 450 total yards its previous game. Navy's speedy ground attack is deadly, tops in the nation with 352.2 yards rushing per game. They are also #13 in points scored (37.6 pg). Navy is on a 10-3-1 spread run, including 8-2 ATS in conference games. They face a Houston defense that will be overmatched, allowing 34, 44 and 45 points in three of the last four contests. Houston is allowing 154.7 yards rushing and 32 points per game. On offense, sophomore QB Clayton Tune (7 TDs, 5 picks) is struggling as the team has lost six of eight and won't be going to a bowl.
