There wasn't a lot to like in Georgia State's first game vs. Army as they were pounded on the ground in a 43-10 whitewashing. What makes it worse is the fact they were a favorite at kickoff. They better play a lot better this week against a sound North Carolina team. Georgia State had big offensive anticipation, bringing back all 11 starters on that side of the ball. They imploded in a big way as they were limited to 177 total yards. North Carolina's big offense suffered a similar fate in being dealt a 17-10 loss at Virginia Tech. QB Sam Howell, a Heisman hopeful, saw those hopes dashed as he was getting sacked a half-dozen times and throwing three picks. I wouldn't want to be Georgia State this week.
