Georgia Southern Eagles vs UAB Blazers Point Spread Picks

These teams lived up to expectations last week in their openers as they each had blowout wins vs. poor opponents. UAB, after eight straight seasons of playing below .500, ended their football team. That lasted two years and UAB returned to the field on a completely different level. The Blazers have finished all six seasons since their return over .500, posting a 51-26 SU record overall. Georgia Southern entered the FBS level several years ago and won nine or more games in three of their first five seasons. Things have not gone well over the past two seasons for the Eagles as they are 10-16. These programs are headed in the opposite direction and I think the Balzers getting more than a touchdown has significant value. I like UAB in this one.
