Don't underestimate the ability of North Carolina Coach Larry Fedora. Fedora built a powerful team at Southern Miss in just four years, and we all saw what happened to that program when he left. His fourth year at Carolina saw the Heels win 11 games for the first time since 1997, and a perfect 8-0 mark in the Coastal Division of the ACC. The offense is loaded once again and QB Mitch Trubisky has all the tools, and offensive skill players to be extremely effective. He has appeared in 21 games, and completed 40-of-47 passes last year. Gene Chizek was masterful in his first year with the defense, that improved more than any team in the country, and should be better. Georgia has a lot of talent as well, but a new coach in Kirby Smart, a modified system, and question marks about the health of one of the top backs in the country in Nick Chubb, might make this game too early on the slate for the Dogs to be what they might be later in the season. I think Carolina is headed for another Coastal Division Championship, and a team that is a lot more prepared for such a huge game so early in the season. Take the points on North Carolina.
