Fresno State Bulldogs vs UCLA Bruins Point Spread Picks

It's already becoming clear that Chip Kelly was a bad hire for UCLA as college defenses have caught up with his famous offense and he comes off two failed stints in the NFL. The Bruins don't have the personnel to run his offense anyway and although they covered as a 31-point underdog at Oklahoma, they lost at home to a mediocre Cincinnati squad as a 14-point favorite. UCLA is averaging only 19 points per game and allowing 37.5 while Fresno State averages 46.5 points and giving up 17.0. Granted, one of the Bulldogs' wins was a 79-13 trouncing of Idaho, but they held their own in a 21-14 loss at Minnesota last week and had the lead until the final minutes. The fact that UCLA ran 50 times for only 129 yards is an indication that Kelly has a long way to go to get this team back on track - if that's possible. To add to the misery, the Bruins also are dealing with several suspensions and injuries. UCLA is 2-12 ATS its last 14 games when following an ATS win and 2-9 ATS its last 11 September games and 2-9 ATS its last 11 non-conference games.
