This is a tough spot as they will face a well-coached, 4-0 Duke team that checks all the boxes. Duke opened the season with a stunning 24-7 win vs. Clemson. The defense is for real as they have allowed just 35 points all season. Notre Dame was 4-0 and won all four easily, and let this one slip away, and it has left them in a vulnerable spot against a team without a football reputation, but has its best team in years, if not ever. Make the play on Duke.

Notre Dame lost to Georgia 23-17 but that loss didn't end their hopes of a National Championship. Losing to Michigan 45-14 did. They felt sorry for themselves and ended up in a close game they pulled out late vs. Virginia Tech 21-20. Now that they have lamented their fate I expect this team to bring it at Duke. Duke may be 4-4 on the season but the four wins were against some teams that are miles under Notre Dame. Duke has lost to the top two teams on their schedule in Virginia and Alabama by a combined 83 points.
