A lot was expected of the Huskies this season, but at 3-5 they have not lived up to those expectations. There is, however, some hidden value on the sled-dogs in this one. UConn has lost five games to teams that combine for a record of 25-12, and none have a losing record. The Huskies have been up to task vs. the lesser teams, and ECU qualifies. The Pirtaes opened with two wins, including a thrilling 33-30 win vs. NC State. Things have all gone down hill since then as the Pirates have lost five staright. They have allowed 38 points per game in the five games. UConn has had trouble handling pressure, limiting the passing game, but that won't be the case for this one as the Pirates have recorded just one sack on the season. I think UConn has at least enough to stay close, and perhaps could spring the upset. Take the points on UConn.
