Clemson Tigers vs Georgia Southern Eagles Point Spread Picks

Georgia Southern has stayed UNDER both games this season and Clemson has gone UNDER in four of its last five dating to last season. The Tigers have allowed an average of only 16.2 points in their first two games this season against Furman and Texas A&M. The Tigers escaped with a victory over the Aggies last week after A&M scored 13 fourth-quarter points, but were held to 71 rushing yards on 32 carries for the game. Kelly Bryant and Trevor Lawrence combined for 17-of-26 passing for Clemson with two touchdowns and 298 yards. Clemson is credited by most observers as having the best defensive line in the country, but the secondary needs to improve after a bad showing against the Aggies. That shouldn't be a problem against the Eagles, who are basically a running team that has averaged only 91.5 passing yards this year.
