Buffalo Bulls vs Lafayette Leopards

Lafayette has played an FBS school six times since 2010 and the Leopards averaged just 10.8 points in those games, including a 42-7 rout by Duke last year. However, the Leopards come off a 9-3 season while winning the Patriot League title with a very capable defense featuring a good run defense and a strong pass rush. Buffalo returns only four offensive starters, but the defense came on strong late in 2023 allowing just 289 yards per game the final eight games and all eight stayed UNDER. This will be coach Pete Lembo's first season at Buffalo and he will attempt to improve an offense that averaged only 21 points per game. The Bulls averaged only 13.7 points their final six games.
