Minnesota has waited two years to get payback for one of the worst losses in its recent history. The Golden Gophers were 30.5-point favorites against Bowling Green on Sept. 25, 2021 and lost outright 14-10 and it ended the Gophers' 21-game win streak against non-conference opponents. That is plenty of motivation enough for Minnesota, which finished the regular season on a low note losing its last four games. Bowling Green QB Connor Bazelak passed for 1,709 yards and eight TDs, Terion Stewart rushed for 762 yards and tight end Harold Fannin Jr. had 573 receiving yards.
