Boise St. is 8-1 with the only blemish coming against #1 Oregon by three points on the road. San Jose St. is just 3-3 after a 3-0 start and their offense has not been good lately, while the Boise defense has improved. the Spartans have allowed four of their last six opponents to score 31 or more points, while the offense has produced just 20.5 PPG. Boise St. is being out-gained on the season, and the defense is awful and has allowed a ridiculous 10 yards per passing attempt. San Jose State has surprised everyone and finished the regular season with a 6-0 record after not having a winning season since 2012. Boise State has won all nine meetings with the Spartans, including 52-42 in 2019. The Broncos have won 14 conference games in a row and they lead the Mountain West with 36.2 points per game. Boise State has won three in a row following a 17-9 victory over Wyoming with Hank Bachmeier finishing 19 of 29 for 181 yards and a touchdown. The Broncos only loss was to BYU, and San Jose State took advantage of four lost fumbles in the second-half in last week's 30-20 win over the Wolf Pack.
