Baylor Bears vs LSU Tigers Point Spread Picks

LSU recovered from a three-game skid by winning its last two regular season games, including 37-17 over Oklahoma and quickly covering the 6-point spread. Garrett Nussmeier threw for 277 yards and three TDs, and he has 3,735 passing yards and 26 TDs with 11 interceptions this season. Nussmeier is the key factor for the Tigers, as they lost some players to the transfer portal. LSU opened as the favorite before some players transferred. Coach Brian Kelly has won both bowl games in his first two years with the Tigers, destroying Purdue 63-7 in 2022 and then defeating Wisconsin 35-31 last season. Baylor is riding a six-game win streak but still is just a slight favorite as the oddsmakers are considering the strength of the SEC. The Bears have mostly needed to pile up the points to come out on top, as they have allowed an average of 30.4 points in their past nine games.
