Christopher Brooks ran for 135 yards on just 13 carries and the defense held the Bulls to 293 total yards. The Cougars allowed 25 points per game in 2021 and are looking to improve on that as all 11 defensive starters return. Baylor went UNDER its final five games last season, but the Bears feasted on Albany, an FCS school, last week 69-10. The Bears obviously won't score nearly that many against the Cougars' experienced stop-unit. Baylor allowed only 18 points per game in 2021 and return six starters on defense. BYU is in revenge after losing last season's meeting 38-24 and it has covered five of six versus Big 12 teams and it's a small favorite in this matchup. The Cougars are 11-6 UNDER their past 17 September games and 14-6 UNDER overall after scoring at least 40 points their previous game and 8-2 UNDER after winning by 20-plus points. BYU is in a down spot coming off its first defeat, a 26-17 loss at home to Boise State as a TD favorite. Now they take a long road trip to the Big 12 to face an explosive Baylor offense.
