Perhaps the most surprising thing about this Army team this season isn't the 4-3 record and potential Bowl bid, it is the fact that the Black Knights are third in the country, allowing just 258 yards per game. That isn't good news for a Wake Forest team that has generated just 4.7 yards per play against a schedule of teams allowing 5.5. The offense has not been there for Wake Forest for the last few years. Army is generating 5.6 yards per carry out of the triple-option, but that has been against opponents allowing 5.7, so they have not been anything special. The Demon Deacons are a good defensive team, and has seen Army every year since 2012, so they have a pretty good idea of what to expect.
