The UMass football program just can't get any traction. The Minutemen lost all 10 of their games vs FBS competition and stopping the Army triple-option is not likely. Many will look at their most recent game vs Texas A&M and hold out hope here, but A&M was a complete no-show turning the ball over 4 times in a 20-3 win. Umass on the season is allowing 5 yards per carry against a schedule of opponents that combine to average 4.1. Army averages 5.6 yards per carry so this is one of the best running teams UMass has faced all season, and I doubt this team has the talent to have the discipline to stop the option, and don't expect much from an offense that has scored 13 points or fewer in 4 of their last 5 games. Army is the play in this one.
