This game looks like an obvious mismatch with the size and athleticism of a BCS Conference team that has piled up the points all season, against a Military Academy team. That is usually the case almost every time one of the Military teams takes the field in the Bowl season. It will be no different when Navy takes on Arizona State in this one. The one big edge the Military Academies have here is they all run the triple option, and no matter how long a team prepares for it, they have likely not seen it before. The second problem is facing one of these military schools doesn't exactly represent a big game, and that will likely be the case for Arizona St. here. Looking at Military schools in Bowl games, they have gone an impressive 24-10 ATS since 1980. What is even more impressive than that is the fact that they are 12-2 ATS as dogs of +6 or more. While this looks like a mismatch, don't be surprised if Navy is in this one until the final possession. Take the points and go with Navy.
