Alabama Crimson Tide vs Penn State Nittany Lions Point Spread Picks

These two teams both took care of business in week one with the Tide rolling to a 48-7 win over Kent State and Penn State winning 41-7 at home vs. Indiana State. They now go from cupcake games to a very tough one for both teams. Last season these teams met with Alabama winning 24-3. That Tide defense returns 10 starters and could be even better this year. Penn State's offense is not awe-inspiring. Rob Bolden has been weak in games against good defenses. But, their defense is very good. I expect something similar to what we saw last year - a low scoring game with the Nittany Lions really struggling to find the end zone. Alabama is 13-1 to the UNDER in their last 14 games after scoring 42+ points. The past three seasons, Penn State is a perfect 10-0 UNDER after allowing 14 or less points last game.
