The Akron Zips have two wins on the season. That ties this team for the most wins by any Akron team in any season since 2018. The Zips are just 9-53 SU in their last 62 games. Seeing this as a pick-em game kind of surprises me. Buffalo is not a very good team, but the Bulls are 4-4. The Bulls are off a 31 point loss at Ohio, U. and support for them here is probably going to be weak. Buffalo has not only won the last three meetings played at Akron, they have outscored the Zips 79-20, or about 20 PPG. I just don't think this Akron team has improved that much. I like Buffalo.

Buffalo had the appearance of a better outcome than it should have last week in a 45-38 loss. They were down 31-7 in the second-half, but a couple of fumbles and they scored 14 quick points. They trailed again by 14 late and then recovered a botched onside kick and scored again in the last minute. They were outgained by Lafayette 520-373. Most are used to Akron being awful, but this year they have a better defense. They lost to Temple by just three, and to Indiana by just two. Over the past three seasons, Buffalo is just 3-12 ATS following a loss. Last week's total points in the Buffalo game were because a lot of crazy things happened, and I don't expect the same here. Take the Zips and the UNDER.
