This game is going to be emotionally packed as it is now a big in-state rivalry as VCU has come into prominence over the last few years. VCU is getting a lot of early love and come in as the No. 14 team in the country. One commonality is that these teams both can get after it on the defensive end, VCU with pressure, and Virginia in the half court. It will be a matter of wills here with Virginia liking to run clock, and play slow, while VCU wants a frenetic pace. The problem is that North Carolina and Duke couldn't get the Cavaliers out of the slow pace, and neither will VCU, and that is not a game best suited for them.
