With the shocking ouster of Virginia in the first round, Villanova is the best team left in the tournament. They may have their hands full against a suddenly hot again West Virginia team that defends well in the paint, blocks shots, and plays 40 minutes of pressure defense. There is some signs that Villaonva is not playing quite up to the same level as they did early on. They lost just four games all season, but three of those losses came in their last eight games. One other was a slender one-point overtime win, and they needed overtime to win the Big East Conference Championship as well. Nova has not really played too may games with a tight line, and when they have this season, the results have been a bit ugly. They have had few true tests, as they have played just five lined games at -7 or less, and they went 1-4 ATS in those five games.
