VCU has had a couple good runs in the NCAA Tournament which has put this team on the radar. They have taken on an aggressive schedule and at 7-3 they are poised to have another good season. This game is going to be a "come down" game after a lot of tough battles, and the same "A" game effort is not likely in the cards. Western Kentucky is 8-3 on the season, but lacks the quality of opponent faced by VCU, but this team is confident and capable of making a game out of this. The Hilltoppers have been kings of the spread at 21-6 ATS in their last 27, and are still off the radar. Take Western Kentucky.

The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers made a splash with a couple of exciting offensively talented teams in the big dance a few years ago, but have slipped in the last couple of years. They are off to a 1-4 start and appear ready to struggle once again this season, as the once powerful offense has been reduced to 33.2% shooting. The Rams already own a 5-point win vs. W. Kentucky in their last game. The Hilltoppers haven’t had much bite or bark as a dog where they are 5-16 ATS in their last 21.
