Vanderbilt has had some good hoops teams in recent years, but at 5-5 this does not appear to be one of them. That rings especially true when three of the wins have come against Eastern Tennessee State, Norfolk State, and High Point. They have also lost to Bucknell, and Middle Tennessee. They have suffered too many offensive droughts, and have shot less than 40% in four of their games already. Chattanooga has become a player, and with four starters returning from a high-octane 2015 team, the Mocs are off to an 8-2 start, and one of those losses was to North Carolina. This is a good shooting team that is sizzling right now, knocking down 71-118 from the field in their last two contests at 60.2%.
