This is going to be a challenging season at VCU. They return zero starters off a team that went 27-8 a year ago. The cupboard is not bare, they just may not have the same depth as a year ago. The home opener was not pretty as VCU lost to McNeese St. 76-65. They have three more easily winnable home games before their first true test vs. Iowa St. They might not need much tonight taking on Samford. Samford lost to Purdue 98-45. They shot just 25% and were blistered off the glass 50-27. VCU is grossly under-valued after their opener, and I expect a different team on the court tonight. Make the play on VCU.
