Pittsburgh Panthers vs Robert Morris Colonials Point Spread Picks

Jeff Capel is still rebuilding in his second year as coach at Pittsburgh, but the Panthers are on the upswing although they do come off a loss to Nicholls State after a big win against Florida State. The Panthers won that game even while shooting only 31.4 percent but they shot 16 more free throws.  They'll need that defense to carry them through the early part of the season as Capel develops some chemistry with his young squad.  Pitt did shoot better against the Colonels hitting 28 of 56, but they made only 4-of-16 from three-point range. Robert Morris is picked to finish in the middle of the pack of the Northeast Conference and it comes off an 18-17 season.
