Xavier vs. Villanova

The Xavier Musketeers have been a well oiled machine when it comes to the postseason. They showed the best of that yesterday when they raced off to a huge lead over Georgetown and then hanging on for a two-point win. The Musketeers now have 21 wins and have improved their tourney resume, but may need to win today to assure themselves a bid. Villanova has had a great season, but were in a dog fight with Providence yesterday, hanging on for a 2-point win. The Wildcats appeared to play tight, and if not for Ochefu and Hart combining to go 13-20 from the floor, while the rest of the team shot 9-32, they would not even be here. They will need a better team effort here against a rising Xavier team that has now beaten Butler and Georgetown to get here, and appears to have destiny on their side. Take the points on Xavier.
