Wofford at Missouri

This is a good test at home for a new-look Missouri team. Wofford is a good team, but isn't sneaking up on anybody, including the oddsmakers, at 1-4 ATS against the SEC. Missouri has added six new players, providing an injection of energy to a program that was beaten down by a season-ending loss to South Carolina in the first round of the SEC Tournament. Three of the new players -- freshman point guard Terrence Phillips, freshman shooting guard K.J. Walton and freshman forward Kevin Puryear -- cracked the starting lineup in a 39-point exhibition win last Friday against Missouri Western. The Tigers scored 59 second-half points, which is as many or more than Mizzou managed in 13 games last season. The coach has Missouri playing an attacking, up-tempo style and has the depth to do it.
