Winthrop at TCU

The Winthrop Eagles may look like a sacrificial lamb here but this program has had a pretty good history and some pretty good teams over the years. This may not be one of them, but they were good enough to go to St. Mary's as an 18-point underdog and win. They were also good enough to go to Duke and put a scare into them before losing by 13 as a 24-point underdog. Overall they are 5-2 ATS on the season, and well under the radar. TCU has played mostly a soft schedule having been a -12 point or more favorite in five games, and overall just 2-5 ATS. Winthrop certainly has proven capable of standing toe-to-toe with even bigger heavyweights. Take the points on Winthrop.
