Wichita State at LSU

It is scary to look at the talent on this LSU team and think of playing on the other side. They shoot well, they defend well, but in the end, find a way to play some close games at home that you'd never think would happen. Wichita State is no pushover and they bring back lots of experience and depth from a team that showed America yet another mid-major with some horsepower. This line is what we call a "reputation" line, and the fact that Wichita State is Wichita State and not Connecticut, or Wake Forest, etc. You can be sure if the uniforms with these same players, and the talent they have were emblazed with the logos of a renowned school this line would be significantly lower. So we will take advantage of a soft line. You may need a reminder that several teams played LSU close at home last year, and also note that fellow MVC member N. Iowa came down here with similar talent and beat LSU 54-50. The line on that game was -8. We will take a very good patient team vs a sometimes impatient LSU squad and the generous points.
