The Wisc-Mil players can downplay the team's near-perfect performance vs Alabama all they want but it WAS a big deal! The Panthers shot 12-of-21 on three-pointers with leading scorers McCants (17.5) and Tucker (15.4) each scoring 21 points! Things won't be as easy vs. Boston College. The Eagles are playing with a chip on their shoulder after they saw a 4-4 finish (following a 20-0 start) drop them all the way to a No. 4 seed! BC made almost 58% of its shots (8-12 on 3-ponters) in a 20-point rout of Penn. BC's outstanding defense will not permit the Panthers the luxury allowed by Alabama and Wisc-Mil has no one to handle either Smith or Dudley inside. Marshall, Watson and Hinnant give BC solid perimeter play plus 7-0 senior Doornekamp and 6-10 freshman Williams will enjoy the fact that no Panther starter is bigger than 6-7. These Panthers have won 18 of 19 since Jan 6 but BC has something to prove today. And, they don't flinch playing away from home. The Eagles are 12-2 ATS as a road favorite over the last 3 seasons. We'll go with Boston College for three stars.
