Western Michigan vs. Syracuse

Some have bailed on Syracuse after their late season slump, but don't sell this talented and brilliantly coached team short. They play a tight, harassing defense that is tough to contend with and is such an asset this time of the year. Syracuse is 6-1 ATS in non-conference games and 5-0-1 ATS in their last six against the MAC. They face an overmatched Western Michigan squad that ranked #8 in the 12-team MAC in points allowed and #6 at defending the three-pointer. Western Michigan fell flat when stepping up in competition, losing at Hawaii (78-68), at Northwestern of the Big 10 (51-35) and at Missouri (66-60). Syracuse, meanwhile, thumped a pair of Big 10 schools by 8 and 17  points, plus shut down Villanova, 78-62. Lay the points on Syracuse.
