West Virginia at Iowa State

Iowa State has won the last three meetings by an average of 13 points and West Virginia has hit the skids after a strong start, losing three of its last five games. The Mountaineers lost at Florida 88-71 on Saturday as their usually reliable defense fell apart and allowed the Gators to shoot 53.1 percent from the field. Jaysean Paige and Tarik Phillip led West Virginia with 15 points each but the rest of the team didn't produce much. Iowa State lost at Texas A&M 72-62, which snapped a four-game winning streak for the Cyclones. Georges Niang finished with 15 points and Jameel McKay grabbed 14 rebounds in the loss which was a letdown situation for Iowa State after its big win over Kansas.
