Western Illinois finished the season at an ugly 7-14. That doesn't measure the improvement in this team down the stretch as the Leathernecks finished 5-2 after a 2-12 start. South Dakota closed the regular season with 6 straight games over the total. That has really jumped the total here as when these teams met just over a month ago the total for the games was 144 and 147. One of those ended 65-60 and I think Western Illinois has made strides on the defensive end since then. No team in the last 6 games has shot better than 46% against them. Western Illinois is off a blowout loss and following a game where they lost a conference game by 30 or more points they are 9-0 to the under in the following game. Make the play on the under.
