Western Illinois at Oral Roberts

Oral Roberts has turned a 4-7 start in their first 11 games to a 9-4 record over their last 13. The numbers sure show signs that this team has gotten better, but the odds-makers have taken notice and as the wins mount, the ATS numbers show just 4-9-1 ATS in their last 14, and they have been an over-rated team. They are taking on a Western Illinois team that has yet to breakthrough on the road at 0-9 on the season, further fueling the line on Oral Roberts here. The fact is ORU has not been this big of a favorite all season, so the number certainly looks suspect here to me. The Leathernecks find themselves in a strong, and long term, 359-264 ATS situation for this one, and with a padded line they certainly should be able to stand up to it. The Golden Eagles conference resume leaves a lot of room for doubt they can tackle a big number as they are 5-16-1 ATS in their last 22 in conference play, and the Leathernecks have played well here at 4-0 ATS in their last four trips.
