Western Illinois at Denver University

The Denver Pioneers have a long history of playing well at home, and getting the money. However, with that they have a poor history of doing so on the road. The problem is that Denver had a respectable team during most of that, and after logging a 92-25 SU record at home they are now 16-14 at home the last two years. They have found it difficult to cover at home where they are an ugly 3-9 ATS on the season. Western Illinois broke out of an 11-game losing streak, with a big dog win over Nebraska Omaha, and should be feeling a lot better about themselves heading into this contest. Despite the 8-13 overall record, the Leathernecks can certainly be competitive here vs. a Denver team that has seen five of their last seven wins come by four or fewer points.
