The Hokies are an awful 1-11 straight-up and 5-7 ATS on the road this season. The reason is that they can't score as they average a pitiful 55.8 points per game away from home. It's gotten worse of late as they have managed barely 53 per game in their last five overall. Miami's offense isn't great, but it's better. And, they have the defense to go with it. The Hurricanes have allowed just 58.6 per game on the road this season, leading to an 8-5 ATS mark. Over the past three seasons, Virginia Tech is just 19-33 ATS in conference games and 6-15 ATS when coming off a road loss. Meanwhile, the past two seasons Miami is 23-12 ATS vs. conference opponents and 13-3 ATS after a home win. Take Miami.
