Villanova vs. Connecticut

The Big East Quarterfinal Round gets underway today. The Connecticut Huskies still have images of a three-peat, and the Huskies have long been a tough out in the NCAA Tournament. The key to the Huskies is having Alex Karavan out of a prolonged slump. He may be ready to go off. The Huskies' two-headed center tandem of Reed and Johnson has really blossomed. Reed recently had a game with 24 points 18 rebounds and 6 blocks, while Johnson had a double-double in a recent game. Villanova is a longshot for the NCAA Tournament, and surely have to win this game. Connecticut is the better team on both ends of the court, and are a vastly superior rebounding team, and that will be the difference tonight.
