Utah Valley State at Southern Utah

Southern Utah was picked to win the Big Sky Conference with four returning starters and it took the Thunderbirds a while to get in sync, but they have won four in a row after opening the season 1-3. Southern Utah has played only one home game its last six games and it comes off an 81-75 win at Idaho on Saturday while enduring an off-shooting night with a .429 field goal percentage. Dre Marin led the Thunderbirds with 19 points and they were 10 of 25 from 3-point distance. Southern Utah won last year's meeting 81-71 as a 5-point favorite. Utah Valley has gone into overtime four times already this season and somehow defeated BYU on Wednesday while hitting only 31.3 percent of its shots.
