UL Lafayette at New Mexico State

The New Mexico State Aggies certainly didn't accomplish much on the football field this year. After seven straight losses, it looked as though the hoops team was ready to follow suit. The Aggies hoopsters, however, didn't quit and have now rebounded with a confidence-building three straight wins, including a nice 5-point win vs. Pacific their last time out. The Ragin’ Cajuns have no streaks to boast about, as they own just a single win vs. a Div-1 opponent, and have yet to breakthrough on the road. This team is going to struggle all season as five of their top six scorers are shooting 42% or less. The Ragin’ Cajuns just 1-11-1 ATS in their last 13 games, and the Aggies have beaten up on soft opponents to the tune of 9-2 ATS in their last 11 vs. a team below .400. I like New Mexico St. to take the dough in this one.
