UC San Diego at Pepperdine

UC San Diego won its first four games of the season and then lost four straight as they hit some tougher competition before routing Occidental 98-67 on Tuesday. The Tritons shot 49 percent and made 18 of 42 from behind the arc. The Tritons had a strong recruiting year to go along with three returning starters as they transition into Division I. Pepperdine is headed toward another tough season after finishing 9-22 in 2022-23 as the Waves have lost six of seven following a 60-55 defeat against Cal State Fullerton while shooting only 40 percent overall and three of 19 from 3-point distance. Pepperdine is 0-4 ATS as a favorite of 0.5-6.5 points and the Tritons are 4-1-1 ATS their past six after winning by at least 20 points their previous game. Take UC San Diego.
