UAB won the American Athletic Conference tournament, including a 93-83 upset of South Florida as an underdog. They've also beaten Maryland of the ACC, 66-63, as a +5 dog, and lost to Clemson by one point as a +6.5 underdog. They've won five of their last nine straight-up as a dog. San Diego State was 14-1 at home this season but 6-8 on the road. That poor play away from home hurt during the Mountain West tournament, getting bounced by New Mexico, 68-61, as a favorite.
