Texas State at SMU

The SMU Mustangs suffered their first loss of the season the last time out, and a lot of times that leads to a letdown in the following game. The strength of this team has been the scoring and rebounding on the interior, but they seem to lack strong guard play, which is crucial in NCAA Basketball. Texas State is still hungry for their first win of the season, and they have a young team that has some talent, and has shown the ability to hang in there. This is a home away from home game for SMU that will christen the renovated Moody Coliseum when conference play opens in January. Texas State has been a great investment on the road as they seem to stay in games, which has led them to a 17-5 ATS mark in their last 22 on the road.
