WIN

LA Lafayette is now two years removed from an NCAA appearance and a near upset of Louisville. Most of that team moved on last year, and they struggled mightily. The hopes this year were pinned on transfer David Dees, and he hasn't disappointed. Dees has averaged 22.8 ppg, so an immediate upgrade from last year's team. A second surprise has been Ross Mouton who averaged just 4.4 ppg and 1.8 rpg a year ago. Mouton has emerged in a big-time way, as he is averaging 20.5 ppg and 6 boards. Tennessee is coming off a high energy game vs N.C. and seldom schedules an early out of conference road game. This is a good spot to play against Tennessee, off an emotional game, and on the road vs an opponent they may not take seriously. Lafayette has two big scorers and should hang in the game.
